Some have argued that now is the time to reduce our stockpiles of nuclear arms. But the second amendment protects the right to bear arms and is a crucial part of American liberty. In addition, the right to bear arms is fully endorsed by the National Rifle Association. The NRA is right to suggest that we should be very careful about changing a Constitution that has served our nation so well for more than 325 years. Does it commit a fallacy?
