Hello, everyonel I'm Annie Suzuki from the seventh grade. I've served on the student council for
two years. I've also been on the teacher appreciation committee for the school. My experience on
the council and the committee has helped me establish a dynamic and positive relationship with
students and teachers at our school. As president, I wish to become a strong voice for all
students. I also want to bring about certain changes in our school.
For starters, we should have longer lunch periods. We've all experienced being stuck in the lunch
line for so long that we have to rush to eat our food. We often don't have time to finish! This is
bad for our health. Longer lunch periods will give us somelextra time to eat our food in peace.
Next, I think the junk food available in our vending machines isn't good for us and should be
replaced with healthy snacks. It's important for us to eat nutritional food and develop good eating
habits while we're young.
Another important change that I think we need is keeping the library open for more hours. We
