As a means of combating poverty the south african government provides for the following
1. social grants
2. nutrition programmes
3. access to free basic education
4. free health care
5. housing

I believe that those options are short term solutions and are not going to fix Africa's problem. They need to take back there , economy by introducing taxation on all of the international mining companies. Second they need to to enforce laws that make com
panies hire local.
