In this lesson we looked at examples of propaganda posters from world war ii. write a paragraph in which you evaluate how effective this method of persuasion is. which messages stood out to you, and why did you find them so compelling?

  propaganda is very effective in trying to persuade citizens to in the war effort. many citizens were taking jobs to build materials for war and some even donated items they found such as scrap metal to give to build war materials. the propaganda usually touched the people's guilty conscience such as the poster when you are riding alone, you are riding  with hitler. this stood out to me because no one wants to ride with the totalitarian adolf hitler and so many u.s. citizens did not do things associated with driving or even using oil. by this, they were contributing to the war time effort. propaganda was a very successful method used to persuade the home front to contribute to the war time effort.
