Socrates, a famous philosopher, studied politics and moral philosophy and prided himself on claiming not to know things, this is because, in the study of philosophy the goal is not to have  more knowledge, its to be able to ask more questions and think and see and question every aspect of your life. Socrates asked a lot of questions, influencing how many philosophers today show and teach their ideas. He claimed knowledge came from questions. His name is attached to the Socratic method -- in which you constantly ask questions so that you can steadily break down a big problem into smaller parts and can test hypotheses against.

I would follow in his footsteps because his method and clever ways are, in my opinion, key to a philosophers success.
