1) Pluck some leaves or petals. crush it with your fingers. what do you see and feel ? do you think that there is water in the leaves or petals ? 2) scool out a portion from a piece of cucumber or brinjal to make a cup. rub in a pinch of salt in the cavity. keep it aside for about 10 minutes and observe. observe again after an hour.

3) keep freshly plucked leaves and flowers under the sun for something. how do they look ? why do you think they look different ?

4) tia a transparent polythene bag around the leaves of a plant. tia the mouth of the polythene tightly and observe after a few hours.
