However, some were still very loyal to the Crown and sided with the English forces and the King. These were referred to as Loyalists (also referred to as Tories) and they decided that during the American Revolution they wanted to side with the English. Early during the Revolution (or Revolt) the Colony of Georgia (most of them with some exceptions) were regarded as Loyalists, we can note this because King George himself called for the establishment of the Colony and it was named explicitly after him, but later the Colony sided with the forces of Colonies.
