Why were Africans the targets of slavery and not people from another area of the world? (If anyone could please help me I’d really appreciate it)

people always though due to color of there skin they was different they deserved to work but what they don't know is that africans went though a lot to help a lot of ungrateful people with their work cause they did not have a fair  choice they did and don't have fair justice and equality the thing is other people was targeted but it just took a while to gather people
