Environment is the surrounding in which we live and it gives all our essentials for the survival such as air, water and food. Environment plays a very important role to mankind for the healthy living. Humans interact with environment to obtain several things such as  water, air, food, medicines, and many other things. A clean or healthy environment enhances quality of life. But with advancement in technology, the environment is getting polluted that leading to a disturbance in ecological balance and give birth to many diseases which are not in the favor o mankind. Mankind has to understand how important is clean environment for them and most of the diseases such as asthma or cancer are the causes of polluted environment. Environment not only provides physical stability but also mental peace as well. Pollution or other environmental issues can leads to stress or depression in humans. A good or clean environment support mankind in all aspects whether physical, mental or social.

new communications technology has affected the way social movements are organized because nowadays, social movements rely on social networks and the media to get different people with a similar way of thinking in contact, and thus, get them to mobilize for a greater cause.

individuals only participate in collective action when they feel identified with it. is in this aspect that social media becomes relevant, because it guarantees communication among all individuals and organizes the social actions that are going to be carried out, i.e., the social movements.

in addition, being covered by the media is important to validate the message and make it relevant in the social agenda, as well as to reach more people who can share interests, appealing to public sympathy for their cause.

in conclusion, it is by social networks and social media that social movement is given birth; by connecting different individuals with similar ideas and organizing them to mobilize for a greater cause.
