Write a Friendly Letter of Advice to a character in a story from a book you read. With this format
1. Under the title, in the field provided, type in the title of your book. Just click on the field and start typing, no need to delete the words that appear there.

2. Under the title of your book, in the field provided, type in the author’s name.

3. The Heading. This includes the address, line by line, with the last line being the date. If the story has an address for you to use, use it in the heading. Otherwise, use the following:

4. The Greeting/Salutation. The greeting always ends with a comma. The greeting may be formal, beginning with the word “dear” and using the person’s given name or relationship, or it may be informal if appropriate.

Formal: Dear Pen pal, Dear Mr. Kramer,

Informal: Hi Joe, Greetings,

In the field provided, type your greeting/salutation.

5. The Body. Also known as the main text. This includes the message you want to write. You should include three pieces of advice to your character, one piece of advice in each paragraph. You should have three body paragraphs, 5 to 7 sentences each. There is one field provided for each paragraph, you must have 3 paragraphs so don’t forget to put space between each paragraph.

6. The Closing. This short expression is always a few words on a single line. It ends in a comma. It should be indented to the same column as the heading.
