Interpersonal communication and impersonal communication is two types of communication mainly distinguished as formal and informal communication between two or more humans.

Interpersonal communication happens between two or more person in a group for discussing a predetermined topic. Impersonal communication also happens between two or more person without a set agenda.

Interpersonal communication is kind of communication that happens between two or more person and the communication relates to sharing of personal thoughts and have a connection between the persons communicating.Impersonal communication is a kind of informal communication in its nature and there exists no personal relationship or past history related to the communication experienced over a long term.Both these kinds of communication are completely not related to each other. Clerical office communication is an example of impersonal whereas a communication between boss and employee is interpersonal communication.

Hence, both the interpersonal and impersonal communication have no relation between them and are useful at different aspects of communication.
