Pls help! will give brainlist! how does a non-democratic government function? Are these forms of governments bad for their citizens?

There are many forms of non democratic governments, for example authoritarianism. Although most of them share characteristics of having power consolidated to a few people at the top, and not giving citizens any political power.

As for if this is good for the citizens, that is up to debate. Communism would be good in theory, but not in practice.
