Explanation:

Grand Prairie refers to a city found in the state of Texas, United States of America.

The Grand Prairie lies between the northern and southern part of Texas; 600 ft to the north and about 1,000 to the south and as a result its soil is thin, mainly stony or rocky, presence of very hard limestone, and with very little trees such as oaks and cedars

On either side of the Grand Prairie region of Texas lie the Cross Timbers.

These are basically the Eastern (lower) Cross Timbers and the Western (upper) Cross Timbers. The Western Cross Timbers have a higher elevation by having 800 to 1,800 feet as compared with the Eastern Cross Timbers having an elevation of just 600 to 700 feet. These two areas are composed of infertile red soil.
