Sunday, September 5, 1830

It is like I am living the same day each day, I go out, and there, there, is WAR and I don't know what to do. Currently,  I'm only 19 and I was recruited 2 weeks ago. So to pass the time, I'm writing every night. I have to get to my quarters to take a quick slumber, every night, I am pretty scared, terrified actually of gunshots flying through the windows...but I have to endure all the stress. For my family, and for my own being.

Oh no!!! butter my biscuits! I have to go, I am going to training grounds with the general and troops. We don't have much time to practice before the war

Thursday, 1830 July 7

The war is still going, and I don't know what to do I'm only 18 and was recruited 2 weeks ago. so to pass time I'm writing every night. But I have to admit I am pretty scared, terrified actually. but I'm in a war now, no room for big scared like me right?

but I have to go now I think I hear the general coming up
