' Import is more than export in Nepal ' Why ?

Nepal isn’t economically stable in terms of competitiveness of international industries therefore import supports Nepal to a greater extent rather than exporting their own goods to other countries as they haven’t got much to sell or share. Due to Nepal being less-competitive in the international market place, compared to other countries, if Nepal imports rather than exports, it will help small business owners to make much more money including stores around Nepal as well! Many tourists also travel around Nepal so it will also make a good impression on Nepal for they are selling foreign goods. However, if more people in Nepal become entrepreneurs then it will make a wonderful impact on the country in terms of economics. People won’t be jobless and living in poverty-strike as most people in Nepal are. Similarly, the balance of trade in Nepal is negative as they import MORE than they export both in terms of volume and value. They can’t import equally compared to their exporting. Nepal’s lack of quality in their products also make it almost impossible to export, this means that majority of Nepal’s products are low quality however, it is pricy to produce and make these products. There is lack of advertising, slow industrial development, lack of publicity, improper trade policy and many more endless factors.
Keep in mind that this country is under-developed and still has yet more to improve along the way so, this factor can also help to explain the fact why Nepal does more import rather than exporting.
