I’m really confused on how I would identify 3 distinct subject areas in the humanities. I want to say art and language but i can’t think of another one. If someone could help me out that would be great. Also explain why it is an area of humanities so i can get a better understanding.

These subjects include: English, Foreign Languages, History, Art, Art History, Philosophy, Religion and Communications. In other words all of the subjects, which usually are considered a BA degree and which require two years of study of a foreign language.

The humanities and social sciences teach us how people have created their world, and how they in turn are created by it.
