Although it can sound complicated, nearly
everything we do is related to the economy
in some way. When we drive on roads, we
are driving on roads paid for by our tax
money. When we buy goods and services,
we help give people jobs as well as pay taxes
through sales tax. If enough people decide
not to buy something because the price is
too high, we can help bring down the price
through the power of the free market. In what
ways do you regularly interact with the
economy? In what ways have you interacted
with the economy today?
