Equality understands that his invention will benefit mankind greatly; however, this was not his main motivation in conducting his experiments, and it is not the primary source of the great joy he experiences. Discuss.

Equality wanted to conduct these experiments  because  he wanted to show the school of scholars what he is capable of and that he has discovered nothing than man has discovered before.

Equality  was an independent person, who does not follow strict rules like everyone else therefore he is unconquered by the council or anyone for that matter. And Equality has firm belief in Self-Strength, and thus he discovered the meaning of life and how to bring back life.
