Explanation:

In simple words, self construal refers to the perception that an individual has for herself or himself. Saying this,we can easily observe that individuals living in high societies gets all resources easily and in moment thus they become more confident and independent in respect of their personality.

But due to lack of resources individuals in middle and lower class are used to compromise their opportunities to others. Thus, they develop the tendency to please others and more focused on how others think themselves rather  being confident on their own.
