Why do you think patriotism is considered an important characteristic of a good citizens? Explain your reasoning

I Think Patriotism Is Considered An Important Charecteristic Because It SHows Love Of Country; & Demonstrates Love Of Country In Such Ways As: Saying The Pledge of Alliegance, & Singing The National Anthem, Displaying The American Flag, & Honoring Military Servicemen & Women

I think conservatives do own patriotism, at least in its contemporary manifestation. When I think of a self-described “patriot”, I imagine a loud, belligerent man who drives an over sized pick-up truck complete with both an American flag and a “Don’t Tread on Me” flying from poles mounted in the flatbed; this man responds to any dissenting opinion about America being “No 1” with the phrase “Love it or leave it!” and occasionally sports a tricolor at political rallies.

i heard they are taking it off i hope this isn't true but otherwise if it doesn't get taken off it will probably be in early december or early january of 2018-2019
