The 'Europe' defined by the EU is very relaxed, and not really bound to the European continent or region. It isnt a cultural region as many nations in the EU have different cultures, and as said above, it isnt the physical european region.

That said, the EU does bind all of the nations involved economically, thus, it is a economical region.

This international organization works through a combination of supranational and intergovernmental systems. In some fields, decisions are made through deliberation and consensus among member states, and in other fields, supranational organ institutions carry out their responsibilities without the approval of their members. Important organ institutions within the European Union are the European Commission, the European Union Council, the European Council, the European Court, and the European Central Bank. In addition, there is also the European Parliament whose members are directly elected by the member states.

The change of name from "European Economic Community" to "European Community" to "European Union" signifies that this organization has changed from an economic unit to a political entity. This trend is marked by the increasing number of policies in the European Union. Regional competition and employment.

This task aims to reduce border interests within Europe - both between countries and within countries - by improving regional cooperation.
