Directions: Complete each section of this template using complete sentences. Parts 1 and 2 Most Honorable Delegates, I recommend that state leaders replace the Articles of Confederation. We need a new Constitution. I have listed three weaknesses of the Articles of Confederation below. I include an explanation of why each weakness is a problem. Weakness #1: Explanation: Weakness #2: Explanation: Weakness #3: Explanation: Parts 3 Preamble to the U. S. Constitution "We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America." This is how I would rewrite the Preamble so that other people can understand it. I hope it helps increase support for the new Constitution.
