There are several types of democracies: liberal, popular, civil, socialist, majority, constitutional, direct, representative, etc. Two kinds of freedom are most often cited: direct, that is, direct democracy and representative - representative democracy, which is still linked to the two basic systems of government by the parliamentary and presidential republic. As pointed out above, there are several ways of making decisions in a democratic society. The political cycle model emphasizes the essential aspects of political decision-making in democratic systems: the heuristic (constructivist) concept of political problems and the common good;competing governmental programs; in pluralistic societies, political arguments are often linked to interests;political decision-making as a process of collective learning; the absence of omniscient players (such as leaders or parties with a salvation ideology);the strong influence of public opinion and media reporting; the opportunity for citizens and interest groups to intervene and participate.
