I go with Thurstone that specific mental abilities are kind of independent of each other. You could find someone very skilled in a paticular area ( like a creative artist)more than another and be so good that he or she is a genius and might be so bad in solving maths . People tend to be predominantly good in a particular skill i believe intelligence was designed like that. But then yet again you still find a few that are good in things generally.
