The Canterbury Tales is about the pilgrimage to Canterbury.

Explanation:

In the Canterbury Tales by Geoffrey Chaucer there are 29 pilgrims initially who are making a pilgrimage to Canterbury to to see the shrine of Saint Thomas Becker.  The narrator decides to join the group of pilgrims (making them 30 total) and begins to describe the pilgrims along the way. The pilgrims also engage in a story telling competition to help pass the time. The collection of prose and verse in this story is significant because it was authored sometime at the end of the 14th century and first circulated with hand printed copies. It gives a glimpse into late medieval life at the time with the stories about different clashes between social classes, the importance of the guilds, and corruption in the church.
