Jim Crow laws were totally abolished by the supreme court which clearly interpreted the constitution stating that 'Separate but equal' doctrine which is mentioned in the constitution has a certain element of subtle inequality hidden in it and hence the black codes were abolished. this was considered to be the revolutionary decision which improved the dignity of African Americans.
