Hunter-gatherer is a human who lives in a society in which all or most of his livelihood is obtained by hunting wild animals and gathering wild plants. In that case people did not had a good sense of family, they  could only survive hunting, could not stay in a large number for lack of food

Primarily agriculture people  did not need to hunt could stay with families and develop new skills
