   Recognition memory task

Explanation:  This memory task is really about recognition memory, and that memory is one through which we can recognise previously experienced events or emotions, i.e stimuli that triggered a particular emotion in response to that stimulus, and we can now recognise that stimulus because we have recognition memory. This memory task, that is, recognition, was performed as an experiment where the experimenter exposed the subjects to a range of stimuli, that is, events or people that cause those stimuli for the subjects to learn. Then, after a certain time, the experimenter showed i.e exposed the learned stimuli together with the new ones, so he mixed them and presented to the subjects to recognise the learned stimuli from the proposed list.
