A). Selection Bias

Selection bias is when there is an ingrained problem in the way that the samples are chosen. If the samples differ from the corresponding population, then there is a problem in the way that samples are chosen.

Response bias is when there is a problem in the way that people respond to the poll (lying on the poll, etc.) and non-response bias is when a certain group in the population does not respond to the poll (ie: only old people answer phone calls while younger people won't).
