If Ellie can approach the group calmly without letting it spark any fear towards her she will have a positive attitude towards it and a feeling of excitement that may make her show interest amongst her group members and not cling to the corner. If Ellie approaches this group confidently and use her locus control to meet people in the group and make friends and maybe being the one to make the first approach to them;take control of the situation.
