Briefly present the situationist critique of virtue ethics. there are two types of response to this critique: the first accepts that there are no character traits but argues that, nonetheless, our thought and talk about character is important; the second argues that situationist experiments do not in fact show that there is no such thing as character. present and discuss both types of responses. are they good responses, or do you think situationism poses a real threat to virtue ethics? explain.
