Intelligence, as the psychological community measures it currently, is normally distributed and is based primarily on iq. very few have extremely low and extremely high iqs where the majority of the population is of average intelligence. since this is the case, is it fair to assume that a teacher should expect all "a's" from a class of students? what about all "f's"? what would either of these situations say about the teacher and how they teach/test their class? what type of grades should a teacher expect from a class and what type of distribution of grades do you think would show a teacher is successful?
