1. Rosa Parks

She was an African-American activist in the Civil Rights Movement. She's known for her Montgomery bus boycott. Basically, it was a political protest about the segregation of African American's in buses due to Jim Crow laws.

2. Malala Yousafzai

Malala was a young girl in Pakistan who fought for justice and made her voice heard about girls in Pakistan not receiving an education. For her activism, she was shot in the head by a Taliban gunman in 2012. She survived and is now famous for her bravery.

3. Mahatma Ghandi

Ghandi was an Indian activist who was the leader of the Indian independence movement. The goal of the movement was to fight against British colonial rule. He used nonviolent protests as a way to fight for justice.
