I'm having problems trying to figure out the difference between domestic an foreign powers. we have to indicate if each presidential power is domestic or foreign and these are the ones i have to match

Foreign powers are 7. Diplomatic powers (Diplomatic powers included the recognition of other countries and making treaties with them); 8. Commander in chief (President is the Commander in Chief of military and can engage in military action in other countries without the approval of the Congress).
