We mostly want one thing out of life, the good not the bad but life is a balance of the two. If you can't make up your mind on what you want out of life ask yourself where you stand in life and ask how any of the two has made you learn what's life.

Life is constantly changing, presenting new agendas it's like a repetition cycle. If you want to get the desires of your life, you need to learn about the two sides of the coin and then need to adapt it. Because when the issue rises, the problem would shake you off as much as can only when you are not definite about what you want out of it.
