This make us tend to hite several aspects of our identity which we personally believe can create a damage to our social relationship.

This is what Doffman's Dramaturgical analysis refer to as a backstage.

Example of backstages:

- When try to be polite and kind to your co-workers which you personally find extremely arrogant and annoying.

- When you hide a certain hobby which can make your friends make fun of you.
