When it comes to development, it is thought of a pattern of change over time, which begins in conception and continues throughout the lifetime. Development takes place in different domains, such as biological (changes in the physical being), social (changes in social relations), emotional (changes in our emotional understanding, experience and expression), cognitive (change in our thought processes). Based on this, we say that the development is multi-dimensional. And there is also a multidirectional development that implies that these dimensions are reduced and grown at different points in a person's life.
