Before the end of the war allowed photographs of the camps, the evidence was anecdotal at best. There was hopes of people to bomb the camps but it would change nothing.

World leaders ignored Hitler's genocide against Jews during the war because many revisionists mention that the fact that a document signed by Hitler authorizing the holocaust has not been found exempts him from guilt. For that reason the possible documents that could be written or photographs taken were only part of a myth, they were kept secret and most of them were just rumors.
