Apolitician once said."the top 1% of wealthiest american own as much as 90% of the rest of americans. how does this quote make you feel?

It makes me feel a bit sad, with the feeling that opportunities will never be distributed in an equal way and 1% of the richest people will continue enriching and the remaining 99% of the population will not have the chance to do the same because of the opportunities .

the reason the welfare system causes so much of a burden on its recipients is because the welfare system does not give its recipients any real tools to actually get out of poverty. the welfare system has embedded poverty deeper into society and has made it harder and harder for people to escape poverty.

in other words, it stoped the poor, and now its making it worse.
