Tropical region generally has always the temperature 65 degree F or above being typically located close to earth's equator. For example, Hawaii and Florida.

Intemperate region, there is variation in temperature but not extreme of cold or hot.  Temperate regions are located midway between equator and pole. For example, San Francisco and Atlanta.
