Describe how the entry of united states into the war was a turning point

The United States played a vital role in both World Wars.  Its involvement helped turn the tide and gave victory to the allies.  Due to its large industry, it was able to supply Britain with weapons as well and other supplies that helped continue the conflict and ultimately win the war.
