When reviewing research on political orientation (conservative, liberal, etc.) you review the instrument most often used to assess it. as you look at the instrument, you notice that many of the issues it asks about have long since been resolved and you wonder whether the instrument really measures political orientation, especially for young adults. you are questioning the instrument's operationality significance validity reliability?
