Carl rogers and abraham maslow are most closely associated with psychological school of thought known as "Humanistic psychology".

Humanistic psychology refers to a psychological perspective that underlines the study of the entire individual. Humanistic psychologists take a gander at human conduct not only through the eyes of the onlooker, however through the eyes of the individual doing the carrying on. Humanistic analysts trust that a person's conduct is connected to his inward sentiments and mental self view.
