The Tuskegee Airmen were a critical part of the war effort in the US during World War II. These brave pilots performed over one thousand missions throughout the course of World War II. Their missions included everything from attacks on enemy bases to gathering information for the US military about the location of enemy armies. The members of this group were glorified in the movie Red Tails, which shows their experiences during World War II.
