How were the americans similar to and different from europe?

The similarties between Americans and Europe lies within our governmental system. Both America and Europe adopted a democratic form of governemnt which give the freedom for the citizens to elect our leaders.

The difference might be shown in the economic system. On Average, European countries tend to allocate more taxes to welfare system compared to the American.
