You're not alone actually... I've felt the same way as you. Many ppl I know and hardly know have come across and tell me I'm so sweet and kind and everything... that makes me feel good. I don't know if that person's going through a hard time, what if he is? what if she is?.. Words can have a great effect in someone. And like you mentioned, life CAN be hard, it's never easy to go through stuff alone, you always need a friend, family memeber, relative, bf/gf to be there for you, to support you.
