A few weeks before the 2016 presidential election, the Bloomberg National Politics Poll asked 1006 randomly selected likely voters who they were going to vote for in the election. A 95% confidence interval for
the true proportion of voters who said they were going to vote for Hillary Clinton was 0.48 to 0.54.
