Gardasil vaccine provides protection against a cancer-causing sexually transmitted virus- HPV- Human Papillamo Virus. HPV is rampant and can lead to cervical biopsies, cervical cryosurgery, laser excision of dysplastic cervical cells and, if untreated, cervical cancer.
