Explanation: First, when it is dropped, it collects speed and kinetic energy, and also creates few amounts of sound and little thermal energy. For, example, you dropped the marble, and it rolled and bounced off towards the ramp. Take, it had 100 joules ( joule is the unit of energy, founded by scientist James Prescott Joule ). As it dropped, it created sound energy ( the clink sound ) and assume it had taken 50 joules. The rest are transformed to thermal and kinetic energy, assuming both energies took 25 joules. As it rolls down, it gains speed, gradually, and soon, it comes to halt in the ground by friction. Friction gives enough evidence as well as use of joules by sound, thermal and kinetic energies.
