A circular saw blade of diameter 0.210 m starts from rest. In a time interval of 6.40 s it accelerates with constant angular acceleration to an angular velocity of 132 rad/s with constant angular acceleration. Find the angular acceleration and the angle through which the blade has turned in this time. So, I used α=Δω/Δt = (140 rad/s)/(6.00s) = 23rad/s
Is this answer right?
Also, to find θ, which equation do I use??? Do I use Δθ=ω0t+1/2αt2 or can I simply use Δθ=ωΔt as derived from the equation ω=Δθ/Δt?

With the simplified model of the eye, what corrective lens (specified by focal length as measured in air) would be needed to enable a person underwater to focus an infinitely distant object? (be careful-the focal length of a lens underwater is not the same as in air! assume that the corrective lens has a refractive index of 1.62 and that the lens is used in eyeglasses, not goggles, so there is water on both sides of the lens. assume that the eyeglasses are 1.90
